Mettner Hof - Restaurant & Hotel in Metten

The hotel is OK, clean handsome. There is internet, car parking. By truck (LKW) - no parking, although verbally inform that there is. You have to stand on the side of the street, in front of the hotel, and you have to pay for parking, although Boxing is not mentioned. . I do not understand the laws of the government, if 45h. break the driver must be in the hotel, then how to get to the hotel in the city center.

A lot of potential wasted: - No reservation by phone despite an empty hotel - Apartment with kitchen but equipment incomplete (1 knife ...) - With a bathtub, but water comes out everywhere on the mixer, just not on the shower - Breakfast mediocre at best Overall, we didn't feel very welcome. Too bad.

The rooms are very good value for money. Unfortunately breakfast only at 8, so I would like to be with the customer. Really nice breakfast buffet. The steak in the garden the evening before was wonderfully tender but unfortunately too well done. Beef sirloin certainly well priced. At € 3.40 for half they could have been brought. If you run out of drink while you are eating, it is more like annoyance when you let your food get cold to get something new or to continue to eat without. Zapenduster seat after sunset?!? All in all, you are on the very best path to the 5 stars but somehow like to turn off shortly before.

Food was extremely salty. Some corridors were left out without saying anything. Boss was sloppy when asked about it. Service was ok. Wasn't really worth the money and experience.

Rodizio is a real experience and in the Mettner Hof everything fits, great service, nice ambience and delicious food.

Just something else. Very good food. Very nice service. Maybe something special but really high class and very good. First-class meat and good side dishes. Think for children it is not optimal but we were 4 adults and were really satisfied. Only the dessert selection could perhaps be a little more versatile.

Generally very nice, attractive building, well maintained, Brasil themed restaurant serves simple but very tasty dishes accompanied by wine and cocktails in a terrific outdoor beer garden. Breakfast selection was also better than average with the best Marble cake I have ever had. Downside: service in the restaurant/beer garden was slow and despite reviews saying the opposite, the adjacent road was very busy and noisy well into the night. Also no cooling in the rooms- not normally an issue for me but we reached 31 Celsius yesterday and my room was a sauna! Recommended. (But try and get a room at the back on the 1st floor as this will be both quieter and cooler.

I would give 6 stars. Great service, excellent meat, delicious side dishes. The dessert for kneeling down. We will be back ❤️

The food was great, the rooms were wonderful and the service was fantastic! This is a great place to stop near the autobahn!
